Getting Ready!
I am preparing to spend 10 weeks in Europe, much of it on my own. This will be my first venture traveling solo, and is an information gathering expedition about whether that can work for me. I won’t be alone the whole time, as I get to start out in Iceland with Mirabel :).
This blog will be a chronicle of my adventures, and hopefully a way for us to stay connected. I figure it may get lonely out there, and there is a requisite number of words that have to come out of my head on a given day, so I thought I could share them with you.
Here’s the Itinerary: Leaving May 20th, I’ll spend 10 days in Iceland with Mirabel, 6 weeks hiking through Norway traveling and living in a VW camper van, two weeks on the Walker’s Haute Route in Switzerland hiking hut to hut from Chamonix to Zermatt, and three stops in Amsterdam in between.
I am posting lots of pictures of me here at the beginning, because going solo, there aren’t going to be many of those. This way you can remember what I look like, and just imagine me in the gorgeous places I will be sharing with you. Of course I won’t be in desert, ocean, or, hopefully, snow, but you get the idea.
Subscribe if you’re interested, and thanks for coming along with me!
